In a goofy twist on a Smash Bros Ultimate challenge, I decided to throw realism out the window and ask the real questions: Can Steve’s iconic crafting table survive the strongest blows from the entire Smash roster?
Steve from Minecraft wasn’t here to fight — this time, he was hosting. Armed with nothing but his trademark table and a whole lot of confidence, Steve set up shop right in the center of a Smash stage, daring every other fighter in the game to try and destroy his precious crafting block… in one hit.
From sword slashes to psychic powers, the results were chaotic, hilarious, and downright bizarre.
The Lineup of Destruction
One by one, Smash fighters stepped up like contestants on a game show. Sephiroth, with his absurdly long sword, approached with dramatic flair. Ganondorf charged up a Warlock Punch that could probably send Steve to another dimension. Even Kirby, small but mighty, gave it his all with a fully charged Hammer swing. Spoiler: Kirby might be cuter than Steve, but that table wasn’t going down easy.
Who Actually Broke It?
Some characters surprisingly couldn’t destroy the table in one shot, even with their flashiest, fully charged Smash attacks. The table endured lasers, explosions, punches, psychic blasts — and sometimes just stood there like, “Is that all you got?”
On the other hand, characters like Bowser and Donkey Kong brought their heavy-hitting energy and left the table in pieces. Meanwhile, others like Jigglypuff hilariously bounced off the table like it was made of bedrock.
Steve’s Reaction?
Let’s just say Steve wasn’t impressed. The silent blocky host watched judgmentally, probably crafting up a new table mid-challenge without blinking. He might not speak, but everyone knew what he was thinking: “Noobs.”
This lighthearted experiment was less about competition and more about laughs, but it turned into a surprisingly interesting strength showcase. Yes, I know. It was a silly challenge
Will Steve ever recover from the mess left behind? Probably. He’s already crafting a new table anyway.
