Sonic.EXE: Confronting Yourself Final Zone V2 has received a major visual upgrade and new sprites, making it even more engaging than before. While the story remains similar, the mod now includes three different endings, each offering its own unique twist and challenges. It’s an exciting mix of fun music, singing, and cool endings for fans of the series.
In the Good Ending, Sonic faces off against Sonic.exe and must escape his grasp with the help of his friends. To unlock this ending, players must achieve 0 misses—an impressive feat for skilled players.
The Canon Ending shows Sonic witnessing the fall of his friends—Tails, Knuckles, and Dr. Eggman. This sets Sonic on a path to avenge them, transforming into Super Sonic to fight Sonic.exe. This ending is unlocked by getting 1-19 misses and also unlocks the level select for further playthroughs.
The Bad Ending introduces updated visuals and more Sonic.exe sprites. Players who miss 20 or more notes will trigger this ending, but unfortunately, the level select won’t be unlocked here.
In addition to the endings, the mod introduces two brand-new songs. Too Slow (Hill) features Tails escaping from Sonic.exe, and Chaos sees Boyfriend & Girlfriend battling Fleetway. These songs add more variety to the gameplay and make each level even more thrilling.
In my gameplay, I’ll be taking on Sonic.EXE: Confronting Yourself Final Zone V2 on Very Hard difficulty. Will Boyfriend, Girlfriend, Tails, and Sonic the Hedgehog manage to defeat Sonic.exe and Fleetway, or will they all fall to the terrifying foes? Stay tuned to find out!
