Sonic Speedrun FNF Mod – No Anti-Aliasing for Crisp, Pixel-Perfect Gameplay
Sometimes the difference between a good video and a great one is all in the visual settings. In my latest recording, I revisited the same Friday Night Funkin’ Sonic mod as last time — but this time, I played it with Anti-Aliasing turned off, and the improvement is crystal clear. No more blurry edges or smudged sprites. Just raw, pixel-perfect visuals the way retro games were meant to be seen.
I already knew about this trick before, but honestly, I’ve gotten used to modders adjusting the settings for me. This time, I took matters into my own hands to give viewers a cleaner, sharper experience.
The Mod’s Story: A Sonic Cartridge Full of Chaos
This mod kicks off with a strange, glitched-out Sonic 1 cartridge loaded with chaos, memes, and unexpected guests buried deep in its data. You control Sonic as he attempts to speedrun his own game, trying to reach the finish line in record time.
But it’s not that simple.
Enter Eggman… and Sonic.exe
Just as Sonic begins to hit his stride, Dr. Eggman shows up with a bag full of tricks to derail the run. From stage hazards to wild remixes, Eggman’s antics force Sonic to stay on his toes. And if that weren’t enough, Sonic.exe crashes the party with his signature brand of creepy chaos.
Now Sonic’s not just racing for the best time — he’s running for his life.
