25 Minutes of Tales of Berseria Gameplay + Hover board (PS3/PS4) – RPG Games

13:11 Hover board Gameplay

Japanese magazine V-Jump revealed a brand new Tales of Berseria 25 minute long gameplay video which displays the game’s battle system, each character’s unique battle abilities, and some of the game’s new mechanics.

The video is unfortunately only available in Japanese so therefore I’ve cut out the long unbearable pauses for those who can’t understand Japanese. If you do understand the language then I suggest you watch the un-edit version over at V-Jump official YT page: youtu.be/NamdLxUjJ5o

Tales of Berseria is due out for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 on August 18 in Japan, and for PlayStation 4 and PC in North America and Europe in early 2017.

  1. For ps3 too? We're already reaching the midpoint of the PS4 life cycle. I wonder why they haven't dropped the ps3 yet.

    • In the US and EU, it's only available for PS4 and PC. It's available for those consoles and PS3 in Japan

    • +Kevin Andrews anytime! but yeah its cause pc gaming isnt as big in japan as it is over here consoles and handhelds make way more money over there than Pc games which is why alot of jrpgs dont show love towards Pc gamers, cus there isnt a market for it over there, at least not a huge one.

    • Have you played both PC and console versions of Zestiria, if so, which one is superior? I'm only worried because the Tales of Symphonia PC port was said to be awful. So I wonder if the same applies to Zestiria or will it apply to Berseria, plus I don't own a gaming computer and my computer isn't powerful enough.

  3. Before I get even more hyped for this game. We had GoShiina for Zestiria. Soooooooo….who's the music composer this time around?

    • Same as always, I think he only did Zestiria, because it was an anniversary title. So I guess they felt like having Sakuraba and Tales of Legendia composer GoShiina work together. Though GoShiina seems to have only done disc 3 and half of disc 4 for the Zestiria soundtrack.

  5. I was hoping they would try and take a little more advantage of the current hardware this time around but I guess I was fooling myself.

    • Its a sequel game the most your gonna see is updated mechanics, the next game is gopnna be where they start pushing the ps4. Plus bear in mind in japan this is still a Ps3 game so it is still limited to the ps3's resources.

    • Our last PS3 Tales game was Zestiria, so when Berseria comes to the United States, well be ahead.

  7. Wait! The humans are casting elemental spells, which looks like seraphic artes. But only Seraphim can do Seraphic Artes, and "Lil' Emil," isn't really human. This takes place before Zestiria, and Eizen (Edna's older brother) is the earth seraphim. Does that mean humans can use seraphic artes too!!! Is there a Shepard in this game!? Is Eleanora half human and half fire seraph!? THEORIES!!!

  9. They had BETTER gotten rid of Quick jump fees in the save points, seriously Zestiria had alot of mechanics that pissed me off too much

    • Ugh I so disappointed when I found out that all the grade I was earning in game wasn't used for buying carry overs but to increase the level of those land lords. I think I have over 2000 points from my first playthrough.

    • +Elijah Williams The shitty thing is the Grade depends on the Lord of the Lands level and unless you have the double grade perk that is a FUCKTON of grinding.

    • That's what i'm doing right now.And I'll tell you all this grinding is starting to piss me off.
