XCOM 2 hit PCs earlier this year, and in September you can play it on those current-gen consoles.
The port will be managed by a relatively new developer called The Workshop, founded by veterans from Call of Duty studio Treyarch. "The incredible reception of XCOM 2 has been rewarding and humbling for the team, and we’ve known console fans have been clamoring to play the game too," XCOM 2 creative director Jake Solomon says. "As avid console players ourselves, we’re excited to work with The Workshop to bring XCOM 2 to all of our fans."
The video game itself appears to be largely identical to the PC version, with updated controls but the same newfound focus on procedurally generated levels that ensure a slightly different experience each time you play.
XCOM2 is coming to XboxOne and PS4 on September 6, 2016.
